Eagle Tie Tack

The American Eagle reproduced on this piece of mens jewelry was featured on a set of cut and engraved glassware. The jewelry design was created for the White House during President Abraham Lincoln’s administration. The custom tie tacks glass was first purchased in 1861 and reordered in 1865; several pieces of these unique tie tacks remain in the White House Collection today.
